Dr. Jeffrey L. Philpott is a higher education consultant who leverages more than 20 years of experience to assist post-secondary institutions in areas such as operational efficiency, strategic transformation, academic quality, and governance. He has managed his consulting firm (now based in Dublin) since 2024, prior to which he spent a year as vice provost at a higher education business institution in Berlin. Before that, Dr. Jeffrey L. Philpott served as an academic dean at the EU Business School in Munich.
Dr. Jeffrey L. Philpott joined the EU Business School as academic quality and subject coordinator and was promoted to head of academic quality and faculty. As head of academic quality and faculty, he oversaw training and development for 70 faculty members, contributed to curriculum design, and provided support to undergraduate and MBA students. In addition, he served as lecturer at Dublin Business School in Ireland and the University of Derby and the University of Roehampton in the United Kingdom. Subsequently, he earned the role of academic dean.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Philpott was the vice president for student affairs and international programs at the State University of New York's College of Optometry. He has also held leadership roles at Hawaii Pacific University, Earl Warren College, and Saint Xavier University. He holds a PhD in higher education administration with an emphasis in learning and development from Bowling Green State University, as well as a master's degree in English from Idaho State University.
